Open website http://www.chateau-de-santenay.com On a hillside of vineyards in the village of Santenay, stands the majestic Château de Santenay stately mansion of the 9th, 12th, 16th century. Hooked on the flanks of the wine-growing slopes of the village of Santenay, it is located in the setting of its Park enclosed by walls. It once belonged to Philippe the bold, son of the King of France John the good and first Valois Duke of great Burgundy (1342 ~ 1404). During his reign, the Burgundy acquired power and glory through his wisdom and his diplomatic sense. His marriage to Margaret of Flanders allowed Burgundy to expand to the North with the current Belgium and Holland bringing wealth linked to the important commercial shipping activity of the latter. The Château de Santenay has developed for many years a business reception and especially weddings.The historical setting of the feudal Castle of 9th - 12th - 16th centuries is exceptional.
His ability allows him to host events up to 250 people according to the desired configuration. Besides the historical aspect of the Château de Santenay, it houses one of the most important wineries in Burgundy with over 98 ha of vineyards covering more than 14 different appellations. Book at
